3D Animated Feature and TV Series : TEASER 15M

Goblins stole all of grandpa’s memories...... Anne plans to take back the “memory film” of grandpa who has entered a state of dementia!

Characteristics of the work

Human life is the continuation of oblivion. If humans memorize all things from the past whether important or not, memorable or horrific, all human heads would explode. Or they will suffer from severe depression every single day. That's probably why God allowed forgetfulness to exist, for the sake of human beings.

The story begins with the setup of the origin of forgetfulness of men. It is not from its simple biological process, but from goblins' playing, or their way of living. Their world is based on a way of living that involves the stealing of human memories, good ones and bad ones, from them. Good memories are considered high value, bad memories are assessed as cheap. Further, the memories are shown in movie theaters, as movies are one of the most important elements in their lives.

Memories of grandpa have been stolen by goblins...  I, Anne, will take back the memories from them...

One day, grandpa, who's little Anne’s best friend, enters a state of dementia. Anne journeys into the goblin world in search of the goblins that have stolen grandpa’s entire “memory film”.

Goblin world is created from the lost memories of the human mind. Goblins surface in the human world, armed with their bags of memory and goblin scissors to cut the memory film from human minds. This is done only after completing their internship, which includes their committing acts of mischief on human memory, such as forgetfulness. One   absolute principle they must keep is that they should not take the entire memory film from a human. That is because the human beings, the origin of the memories which begin to form the goblin world, start to lose the ability of remembering anything from that moment on.

Anne, a 6-year-old girl who is stubborn and quarrels with her divorced mom everyday, makes a decision to enter the goblin world to take back grandpa's memories. She recalls a story about goblins that grandpa once related to her some time ago, as grandpa fails to recognize her anymore from his dementia. Anne catches a boy goblin named 'Hobb' by using a cat that is able to see goblins. She then enters the goblin world. Anne will risk being kicked out of the goblin world without memory, and Hobb will not be able to resurface in the human world ever again, if they get caught by goblins. Without being caught, Anne and Hobb must find the memory film of grandpa before it floats out to the river of oblivion. Anne and Hobb will be driven into a mysterious adventure, thwarted by obstructions caused by the mischievous workings of Pixie's mom, who has become a movie plutocrat by broadcasting the loving memories of Anne's dad for his wife, Lucifer goblin, who has committed the crime of stealing grandpa’s entire memory film, and Pixie's gang, who enjoys teasing Hobb incessantly.

Main Characters

Anne: 5 years and 11 months. A girl. Six months ago her parents were divorced, as she now lives with her mom and grandpa. She spends most of her time with grandpa and enjoys reading books with grandpa and watching TV soap operas. She thinks she knows everything, except some things she still doesn't know. She's smart, quick-witted, and bold, as she is a cute little girl. Occasionally she confuses people by saying things that are not so child-like, but still she remains a simple and innocent child. She respects grandpa very much and follows his example, even though she tends to think little of her parents’ generation of adults, including her own mom. Grandpa is the friend who understands Anne the best.

Kitty: A cat in Anne's residence. Fat, lazy but smart. According to grandpa, a cat can see goblins much better than a human can. This cat enjoys taking a rest or taking a nap beside grandpa. He doesn’t like Anne much as she's noisy and annoying to him. He treats Anne as a little kid with a haughty attitude, but still plays with her reluctantly and becomes a helper as time goes on. He has a wide range of knowledge.

Hobb: Boy goblin in Anne's age. A bit funky and timid, he does not think a lot like any other goblins. That's why the goblins' common work of stealing articles or memories from humans is not suitable to his aptitude. He receives bad grades, doesn't get along with his peers, but is very creative and holds a warm, innocent heart. He comes to assist Anne into the goblin world after he is caught by her, a human and a girl. He tries to send Anne back to her world by scaring her off before she gets caught by the other goblins, nevertheless he eventually becomes a big helper to her, no matter what.

Pixie: Girl goblin. Very haughty. She has an impish smile with sparkling piercing eyes, a beautiful appearance and enjoys wearing sumptuous costumes. Although she likes Hobb, she's hard on him and teases him without fail. She's a pretty girl from a royal family with good grades, albeit arrogant and selfish.

Pooky: A wicked little goblin. He engages in selfish wiles, and teases Hobb for being like a spaniel to Pixie.

Good fellow: A dull-looking kid goblin with mighty power. Also teases Hobb as Pixie’s spaniel.

Lucifer goblin: Dr. Goblin Blin. As a devilish goblin, he steals a super robot and disguises it as an evil author, taking minds from innocent and weak human beings, and turning them into slaves. Furthermore, he kidnaps Anne's grandpa and makes him tell stories until he falls asleep.

Grandpa: Anne's grandpa. Has deep knowledge from various experiences through numerous travels when he was young as a photographic journalist. He’s the sweetest person Anne has ever known, and her best friend. He's looking after Anne's heart more than anyone else and thus possesses exceptional character.

Mom: Anne's mother. Divorcee. Graphic designer. Always busy and out of her mind. She suffers from severe forgetfulness and is a bit hysterical, but she loves Anne from the bottom of her heart.

Instructor goblin: Mrs. Maxwell. Teacher of Goblin’s elementary school where Hobb and Pixie attend.
